Jopet Arias is a Manila-based contemporary artist and curator whose work explores "Metaphysical Art"—the intersection of the spirit, body, and soul. His practice is defined by Pagbubuklod (Binding), a philosophy focused on mending fragmented cultural histories and fostering community through "living archives."
Arias is a pioneer in integrating augmented reality (AR) with traditional painting to create immersive, post-internet aesthetics. Beyond his personal practice, he is a vital figure in the Philippine art infrastructure as the co-founder of the influential TLYR Collective, he led the group’s successful transition from special exhibitions to the main gallery section of Art Fair Philippines 2022-2025 building on a strong curatorial track record that includes major showcases like Habilin (2026).
