Kevin Roque (b. 1991) is a visual artist whose practice spans drawing and new media. He explores sociopolitical narratives and inarticulated histories encompassing social habits, beliefs, institutions, and material production. He is currently pursuing a Master's in Fine Arts at UP Diliman. He also holds degrees in Fine Arts (Painting) from UP Diliman (2022) and Computer Science (Information Systems) from DLSU Manila (2012). Drawing from archives, he reworks images and objects to challenge dominant narratives, delink from our colonial influence, and uncover new layers of meaning.
